Co-organiser Grant Evans said 6000 to 8000 patrons attended the event, bringing foot traffic to Deloraine businesses.
"We really like to show off our town and our parkland and our wonderful streets here, and it's really great for everyone to be able to enjoy it," he said.
"And for the businesses of Deloraine, they are able to have a big day before the winter comes on - it can be a bit quiet in winter in rural communities.
"We just love to see people flocking to Deloraine."
More than 530 cars entered this year's show - 100 more than its first year.
The range included Australian-made vehicles, American muscle cars, classic British models, and many other varieties, with car owners travelling from all over Tasmania to show off their pride and joy.
Unlike some car shows, the vehicles aren't categorised.
"So you've got Holdens and Fords and all different cars mixed up together, and I think that really adds to the whole day," Mr Evans said.
"Any more entries and they'll have to take over the rest of the Meander Valley.
"We capped it at cars from 1988 and back, because if it was cars from today backwards we really couldn't fit them all in," he said.
Liberal Lyons MHA Guy Barnett said the event was an example of the Tasmanian way of life.
"It's great to be at the Deloraine Car Show - a wonderful effort of volunteer work," he said.
"It's part of the Tasmanian way of life. You can just feel it from the great atmosphere, the music, all the enjoyment, and people are out here in droves."
Mr Evans repeated Mr Barnett's praise of the volunteer effort that goes into making the Deloraine Street Car Show an annual success.
"It's really wonderful how the SES, the local fire brigade, the Apex Club, the Challengers Hot Rod Club, along with all the volunteers, are able to help us out on the day," he said.
