Two baby marmoset twins were born on February 14, joining the family of about 20 living at the zoo.
The small monkeys originate from Brazil and are very social animals who live in groups of up to 20 individuals.
Keeper Bridie Slattery said it was a good sign that the marmosets were breeding, as it meant they were happy and comfortable inside their enclosure.
"They usually have twins, occasionally triplets," she said.
The babies will begin to eat solid food at four weeks old, and will be almost fully independent by 12 weeks old. They will continue to sleep on their parents' back until four months old, and then reach full maturity at 14 months old.
Marmosets mainly eat tree sap, gum, resin and insects, alongside fruit, flowers, seeds, eggs, and smaller animals.
