A man has died at the scene during a single-vehicle crash in the state's south overnight.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Colebrook Road at Campania about midnight.
The 53-year-old from Mornington was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
IN OTHER NEWS:
An off-duty police officer found the vehicle, which was a white Toyota Hilux, and alerted emergency services.
Initial investigations show excessive speed may have been a factor in the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be involved.
Police remained at the scene until about 6am on Monday morning.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
