Craig Gresham helps veterans and first responders train their assistance dogs though Misha's Mates but this year he also started Festival Friends to comfort festival-goers with dogs.
It was their first festival and he said they were helping to lower people's anxiety levels by allowing them to interact, pat and cuddle the dogs.
"It's been great, we've had a great response we had a few issues with the heat yesterday [Monday] but I think everyone did," Mr Gresham said.
"Our plan is to have this become a regular thing that we can do with family-friendly festivals.
"We really love the environment that Falls put on by being able to have kids and safe zones for them and our dogs have been able to interact really well in that space."
Sixteen volunteers donated their time to walk around the site with their dogs to provide assistance and social inclusion over the three-day event.
Mr Gresham said they walked around the site and visited the St John Ambulance tent and the Headspace chill-out area all day.
"We're here for mental health and social inclusion," he said.
"We've actually got to the point now where some people down in the campsites who are having a hard time will come up looking for our dogs.
"We have been able to some really positive connections and make someone smile and let them go enjoy the rest of the festival, which has been really good."
