The Tamar Valley Voices will sing carols, and the ever-popular Franklin House fruit mince pies and Christmas cake will be served. Bookings are essential, on 63447824, for catering purposes. All funds raised from this event go towards the day-to-day running and maintenance of Franklin House.
World Street Eats
International flavours
Following on a successful market debut, World Street Eats is back for Round 2 on Sunday, December 15, at Civic Square from 10am to 2pm. Try different cuisines and street food and eat your way around the world: from Pad Thai to Brazillian Pastel, the Dutch biscuit Stroopwafel to Spanish Paella or Korean Spicy Chicken. Shop as you dine by paying the little Makers corner a visit, to grab yourself a pair of handmade earrings or some sustainably sourced candles - there's also a corner for young ones to stay occupied while you shop, and Santa will visit from 11am to 1pm.
