Member of the Army Reserves were in the Brisbane Street Mall on Wednesday to raise awareness for their upcoming open night at the Youngtown Barracks.

Lance Corporal Nicholas Bowman, of Launceston, has been in the Reserves for four years.
"I Joined Reserves to give back to the community that has raised me well and to serve my country and develop myself," he said.
In other news:
LCPL Bowman said his work with the reserves has taken him around Australia as well as Malaysia and Singapore for training.
"[I] Pretty much wanted to be in the Reserves since I was a child," he said.
"People should sign up just to give back to Australia, there's a lot of benefits."
The open night information evening will start at 6pm on November 26.
