After shooting 35 points in a 79-72 win over Hobart Phoenix in the competition's opening weekend, the 23-year-old impressed again in Devonport as Launceston Lightning finished top of the table with a 6-0 record.
The former Baptist Missouri guard's weekend high of 23 points against Clarence United helped book his side a ticket to the finals weekend in Launceston on November 16-17 and saw him finish the round roster matches averaging 21 points per game.
In winning MVP, Woodfall was assured a spot in the all-star five alongside Penguin's Jacob Richards and Southern trio Jack Stanwix, Cam Brown and Lochie Boucher.
Richards shot a huge 39 points against Basketball Tasmania's high performance side last weekend.
