In a new dawning for girls' school football, Kings Meadows High School have been coronated the latest queens.
Gala day reigning champions Queechy High School were forced to finally abdicate the region's division one title on Friday at Kings Meadows for the first time in the competition's history.
The hosts went through undefeated, the only school to take out all three games.
Riverside High School, Scotch Oakburn College and Queechy all won twice each while Scottsdale High and Prospect High were winless.

"Queechy have been the dominant school over the past years," Northern High Schools Sports Association executive officer Andrew McCarthy said, "but Kings Meadows have done well to win it for the first time."
The Cressy District High School also claimed an inaugural crown at Brooks High School, winning all of its four matches in division two.
Star of the Sean College, Deloraine High and Brooks took three wins and rounded up the top four of eight teams.
"Gala Day has been fantastic - the girls love it on the last day of term," McCarthy said.
