Police detected the 29-year-old riding a white Suzuki motorcycle on the Meander Valley Highway between Launceston and Westbury on Wednesday, September 25.
The motorcycle was allegedly detected travelling at more than 200km/h between Carrick and Hagley.
In other news:
Police will also allege the driver evaded police at Westbury.
He was located and arrested a short time later.
The man has been charged with evading police, speeding, and other traffic offences.
His motorcycle has been impounded for 28 days.
He is due to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on November 20.
