The event involves competitors taking open sets of data from an online government resource which will then be analysed and presented at the end of the weekend.
This will be the first event held at GovHack facilitator Enterprize's new headquarters at the refurbished Macquarie House.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Enterprize community manager Kaitlin Roach said it was exciting to be able to host GovHack at the new space.
"It [Macquarie House] will really allow more people in the innovation and startup community to come in and look at our building as well, which is really exciting," Ms Roach said.
"From Enterprize's perspective we were really crammed into one space for events, workshops and day-to-day activities and now we're able to separate that out across the three levels."
