Echoing the success of their AFL namesake, the Prospect side have been deservedly nominated for The Examiner's Junior Sports team of the year award with club coach mentor Daniel Smedley crediting the boys' effort.
"About four of the boys have completed the full journey from under-nines to 16s with the others joining along the journey," he said.
"The boys show that while it's good to have high-end talent, you win premierships by sticking together and having players who contribute and play their roles."

Enjoying limited success until their first premiership win in under-14s, Smedley described the side as 'middle of the pecking order' and struggling for numbers before a coaching change sparked a general resurgence.
"Tony Saunders, who has a background at Rocherlea, came on board for that season and brought with him some other dads who have country football experience in Patrick Sulzberger [Lilydale] and Stuart Lockhart [Uni Mowbray, Hillwood and Lilydale] and they rallied some discipline into the boys."
Dropping their first two game of their 2017 under-14 season, things started to look bleak but the side charged their way through, taking out the grand final in dominant fashion over North Launceston before moving onto the under-16s flag next season.
The 2018 division two contest proved to be much tougher, as the bottom-aged side came away with a tight 8.7 (55) to 7.9 (51) win over Tamar.
Sunday's division one grand final completed their undefeated season with a commanding 10.12 (72) to 3.3 (21) victory.
Locked in a tight contest at three-quarter time, the Hawks kicked seven goals in the final term to complete their hat-trick with Tasmanian under-16 representative Tony Aganas adjudged best on ground, driving the play through the middle.
