Tasmania Police has not ruled out foul play amid concerns for the whereabouts of a Launceston teenager.
However, they said there is no evidence yet to suggest 19-year-old Billy Ray Waters' disappearance is at the hands of others.
Mr Waters was reported missing by his friends on August 11, with Tasmania Police now turning to the public for any information.
He was last seen on August 8.

Detective Acting Inspector Craig Fox said Mr Waters might have gone camping.
"We have information that he perhaps might have visited the North-East of the state, maybe around the Tomahawk or Bridport areas, so we're asking for any members of the public to give us a call on Crimestoppers or calling us directly if they've seen anyone that matches the description," Detective Inspector Fox said.
He was last seen wearing wearing tan coloured low-crutch skate pants, a tie-dye shirt, a black puffer jacket, a 'Raiders' cap and multi coloured green and grey Nike runners. He is about 175 centimetres tall.
Detective Inspector Fox said police were unable to comment on any matters relating to Billy from before he was reported as missing. But said the man could also contact police through a third party if he was concerned about talking directly to them.
It is understood that Mr Waters does not have his own form of transport.

Detective Inspector Fox said it is not unusual for Mr Waters to "fall off the grid", but has stayed with various friends over a number of months.
However, there is no indication that the relationship had turned sour.
"They're as concerned about his as we are, and as concerned as his family. They've been cooperative with the police. We've spoken to them several times," he said.
"There is nothing to directly suggest that there has been foul play. But we haven't ruled out anything yet."
Mr Waters is often seen at Royal Park. But he was last seen around Holbrook Street at Invermay.
Detective Inspector Fox said police were unable to comment on any matters relating to Billy from before he was reported as missing.
