"I've got children coming out the wazoo at the moment," he said. "The world's burning and I'm a lefty so why not just drive it into the ground if nobody's going to do anything about it."
Fresh from hosting the Logie-nominated Taboo - which saw the acclaimed comedian get to know people living with terminal and mental illness, the impacts of bigotry and physical disability before performing a standup routine for them - Breen is back to what he knows in a new national run of shows.
With a 9-year-old, a toddler and another baby on the way, parenthood is a big aspect.

But it was telling other people's stories through Taboo that was the big change for Breen. It is also one he has learned from.
"It's made me more aware of people that are sitting in pretty unique circumstances that I would never have ever had to consider because of the height of privilege that I sit at," he said.
