In 2018, two students entered and were named as finalists. This has motivated others to take part this year.
Films from five pupils were entered, along with a whole school film.
School Robbery, Cone Head, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Bank Robbery, Day at School and Brave are the names of the films the school entered.
Students did the filming, editing and preparation for the premier during the weekly movie group lessons.
Voting is open until July 3.
A red carpet event has been organised for 11am on July 4 at Giant Steps to showcase the films.
There will be food cooked by each classroom, speeches, film screenings, awards and more.
The films are viewed in 168 countries and more than 700,000 people vote for the films.
