The 268-game, 165-goal former Brisbane Lion, who was named at full-back in the indigenous team of the century and also captained the indigenous all-stars in 2005, will play a one-off game for Oatlands against Bothwell.
The clash will be at 1.30pm on Saturday, June 22, at the Oatlands Recreation Ground.
League officials were delighted with the coup saying White's appearance was "an awesome result" for Oatlands, the ODFA and grass roots footy in general.
White will also take part in a "coterie night" from 6pm for which tickets are available at $30 (including supper) through president Greg Pennicott (on 0417 105940).
Since retiring from the AFL, he has been playing in Country Queensland and Victoria and made two appearances with Rocherlea in the NTFA in 2017 and 2018. He also plays NTFL football with the Darwin Buffaloes and takes part in Tasmania's Relive the Rivalry legends game.
