This year, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra event will be compered by Christopher Lawrence, and will be conducted by Benjamin Northey.
The program has a strong "Hispanic flavour", featuring Argentinian-Australian baritone Jose Carbo and arias from operas such as Rigoletto, The Barber of Seville and Carmen.
TSO chief executive Caroline Sharpen said it was one of the most anticipated events of the year for the TSO.
"It is an enormous privilege to perform for the Tasmanian community, especially in the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and City Park, two of the most loved public spaces in our beautiful state," she said.
Symphony Under the Stars will take place on Saturday, February 23 at City Park.
Gates will open at 3.30pm, with the St Patricks College Band performing from 6pm. The TSO will begin its performance at 7pm.
Entry to the event is via Cimitiere Street only.
The free event is at capacity. Tickets are required, and will be scanned on entry.
Patrons are able to bring a picnic and drinks, including alcohol. Food will also be available onsite.
Metal cutlery and glassware is not permitted.
