Casey Barnes began his career singing in Tasmania before making the Gold Coast home.
Now, he's performed all over the world with major success in Europe and the United States.
He released his latest album, The Good Life, in March 2018.
The album was recorded in Melbourne with Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis. It debuted at number one on the iTunes Country Chart and number two on the ARIA Country Chart.
Barnes was a finalist for the 2018 Australian Male Artist of the Year in the Planet Country Music for a New Generation Award, and was voted as the winner.
His latest single, Better Days, was released on February 15.
Barnes said there was a great message behind the song.
"I absolutely love the positive message behind this single," he said.
"In life it seems we're always looking back and reflecting on past memories as the 'good old days' as opposed to living in the now, looking to the future, creating new memories and making these our better days.
"I felt like this was the perfect single to kick off 2019 with a new album in the works, US tour just announced, and lots more exciting things just around the corner.
"The best is yet to come."
Barnes will embark on a tour of the US in the first quarter of 2019 where he will perform in arena events in the Unleash the Beast tour through the in Kansas City, Missouri, and Sioux Falls.
He will return to Nashville and Los Angeles to commence writing and recording his fourth studio album, which is expected to be released later this year.
However, prior to heading to the US he's heading to the East Coast for this one Tasmanian show.
Barnes said he was hoping to make the show at the Mathinna Club a huge success.
Supporting Barnes at the show will be Launceston-based alternate-country band The Blackstone Dukes.
