Ten records were broken as Fox House strolled to its fourth win in five years, with nine individual girls' efforts and one boys' relay setting new benchmarks.
Emily Mitchell set new records in the under-14 50m backstroke and butterfly, which was matched by fellow state swimmer Amy Muldoon in the under-15 and under-16 divisions.
Bella Muldoon and Mollie Gray both set new standards in the under-12 25m events, while under-21 Dawson Howell and under-13 Rebecca Clarke broke 50m freestyle records.
Scotch sports director Rob Jeffery was pleased by the enthusiasm on display at Launceston Aquatic Centre.
"There were 625 swimmers and we had the program from 8.45am to 3pm, which included everybody having a 25m, 50m or a 100m swim," he said.
"So as far as atmosphere and participation goes it was excellent."
Experiencing the carnival for the first time was Nance grade six Luca Alessio, who competed in 25m and 50m events.
"It’s just really fun because we get to make up lots of chants," the 11-year-old said.
"The support of my house and competing against my friends has been really fun."
