The mining company celebrated a 10-year partnership with disability enterprise Bluegum, with members from the group gaining employment at the facility.
Manager of Bluegum Mike McGowan said the relationship between the two organisations was not only a good one but an important one.
“A lot of people talk about social procurement which is employing a certain number of your people with a disability but not many people do, but Temco does,” Mr McGowan said.
“Without Temco I don’t think Bluegum would be what it is today.”
Services supervisor at Temco Leigh Beardwood said employees from Bluegum have done such as weed control, mowing and general outdoor maintenance has been absolutely fantastic.
“I think you can just tell the admiration we’ve got for the work they do, they make the lawn and the vegetation areas really presentable,” he said.
