Sunday, December 2, was the date of its first Summer in the Brook, a live music series hosted indoors or outdoors at the vineyard, depending on weather.
There will also be Summer in the Brook events on January 13, February 10, February 24, March 3, and March 10.
Pipers Brook marketing manager Rachel Boyd said the events would certainly be worth the 50-minute trip from Launceston.
“Not only will be have some really great live music, plus Tasmanian produce, plus Tasmanian wine, but we’re in the neighborhood of other amazing Tasmanian wineries, and you can go down to the beach at Bridport, you can do so many things in the region,” she said.
“Our cafe reopened quite recently, so with the live music we’re hoping to give people another reason to come and enjoy it.”
Picnics are available with pre-booking.
”We've also just become bike-friendly accredited,” said Ms Boyd.
“It’s in this really big area, and it’s a very family-friendly event.”
The January 13, February 10 and March 3 dates will feature Vinyl in the Vines DJ Grinning Cat.
Ms Boyd said the Launceston-based performer was always a highlight.
“People always make their own dancefloor whenever he comes out, it's a really good time,” she said.
On each occasion there will be a shuttle bus running from Launceston through Island Adventure Shuttles, with arrangements able to made through the shuttle company on IAShuttlesTasmania@gmail.com.
Also throughout summer will be Yoga at the Vineyard with Jen, a “mindful and balanced start to your day” with Bridport yogi Jen Barron. The $36 introductory cost includes a 1 hour yoga session overlooking the rolling hills and vines, brunch afterwards, and tastings of Pipers Brook wines.
Yoga at the Vineyard with Jen will be held on January 5, January 19, January 26, and February 2.
