Launceston Tornadoes will attend a meeting in Melbourne early in December with all 18 clubs that have been selected to compete.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Torns said it has so far been confirmed that 20 games would make up the regular season next year – up from 15 home and away matches under the defunct SEABL in 2019.
“Basketball Victoria has also indicated that the league will be run under many of the same regulations as the previous competition with player eligibility, game regulations and venue requirements to be brought over from the SEABL competition,” the Tornadoes statement said.
