Thousands of local government election votes returned on Monday

This means more than 82,000 people have voted in the local government elections statewide in the first week of voting.
About 20 per cent of City of Launceston voters have returned their vote. In Hobart, 22 per cent of eligible voters have made their choice.
More eligible southern council voters have returned their votes than those in Launceston.
