Rotary Health chairman John Dare said the Day at the Creek raffle had launched at the Mole Creek Hotel on Friday, and that about 200 tickets had sold within hours.
Raffle tickets cost $100 each, with two first prize draws offering the chance to win a Harley Davidson motorbike.
Mr Dare said the $50,000 expected from the raffle would go to Australian Rotary Health for research into youth suicide and mental illness.
“ARH invest about two million dollars a year into research into a whole range of things in respect to mental illness,” he said.
The raffle will be drawn at the Day at the Creek music festival in February. For raffle tickets, contact the Mole Creek Hotel.
