Thurlow, 24, has struggled for a permanent place in Chris Scott’s best 22 this season despite strong form in the VFL, and could find himself at another club in 2019.
Drafted with pick 12 in 2012, he is without a deal for 2019 having played seven of his 46 career AFL matches this year.
On the Gold Coast, one Tasmanian, Tigers’ Mackenzie Willis has already been delisted, with the Suns expected to drastically reshape its list after a poor season.
Willis, who played for the Tigers in the TSL, was selected with the 32nd pick in the 2016 rookie draft.
Meanwhile, his former teammates Kolodjashnij, Lonergan and Aaron Hall also find themselves out of contract.
Kolodjashnij, 23, of Launceston, put his concussion worries behind him to play rounds 18-21, while Lonergan, who is also a former Blue, has struggled for consistency throughout his career and played five games.
Midfielder Hall played six matches before a pectoral muscle injury ended his season and it has been reported that he could be on the move.
Veteran Tim Mohr at Greater Western Sydney, Mitch Hibberd at North Melbourne and luckless Kieran Lovell at Hawthorn face uncertainty, with Clarence small forward Josh Green in the same boat after two years at Essendon.
The North-West Coast’s Maverick Weller, a former member of St Kilda’s leadership group, played 13 games in a season that started with hamstring issues and ended out of the senior team.
Pressure forward Docker Brady Grey too had hamstring issues this season, but was recalled by coach Ross Lyon to play the last month with Fremantle.
Robbie Fox, who came to the Swans via the 34th pick in the 2016 rookie draft, has played 10 games this year in a variety of roles for the club.
He was one of two late inclusions into the Sydney team for last week’s loss to Hawthorn, and has played 13 games in his two years at the Harbour City club.
Ryan Gardner, however, has yet to make his senior debut for Geelong, and has spent time both forward and back in the VFL.
Brisbane leader Mitch Robinson is another whose plans for next year are not yet confirmed, however, it would be expected he would be part of Chris Fagan’s plans going forward.
He was a vital part of Brisbane’s team this season, averaging 21.1 touches and 5.4 tackles a game in his 19 outings.
The same goes for rookie sensation Brody Mihocek, who has kicked 23.12 from 12 games to help the Pies get to the finals after being recruited from VFL club Port Melbourne.
Of the 10 clubs that failed to make the finals, Gold Coast, Port Adelaide, North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs announced their initial delistings on Tuesday, with St Kilda joining in on Wednesday.
The first delisted free agency period will be held on November 1-8, the second on November 10-16 and the third on November 23 ahead of the pre-season and rookie drafts.
The national draft will be held on November 22-23, with final list lodgements for the 2019 season to be in by 2pm on November 27.
