The business is taking part in National Pyjama Day, in support of children living in foster care.
An initiative of the Pyjama Foundation, the day is aimed at raising funds to help offer educational resources and teach life skills to children living in out-of-home care.
According to the Australian Institute of Family Studies, about 51,000 children are currently in foster care across Australia and face significantly lower educational outcomes of any group of children.
Riverside store manager Bek Fleming said they were happy to get behind such a worthwhile cause.
“Everyone will be asking why we are in our pyjamas and it is a great way to be proactive about raising awareness for an issue many people aren’t as familiar with,” she said.
“This is a chance for us to socialise with our customers and for them to learn about an important cause.”
The chemist will host a morning tea from 10am.
