The state’s Parks and Wildlife Service has released its new visitor guide, designed to showcase the state's natural environment and increase visitation to those areas.

The book features 60 short walks, multi-day walks and mountain bike courses.
Environment Minister Elise Archer said it was hoped the guide might increase overnight stays in regional areas.
"It is a wonderful companion to visitors to the state but also Tasmanians so they can get out and experience what's in its own backyard," Ms Archer said.
Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service general manager Jason Jacobi said the guide prepared visitors with information on how to best equip themselves when venturing into the wilderness.
“There is something for everyone in this book,” Mr Jacobi said.
“And being prepared in the Tasmanian wilderness is just so important. Weather conditions can change within minutes.” The guide is available for purchase in hardcopy or online.
