Butcher Nigel Birrell discovered his Exeter shop had been burgled in the early hours of Monday.
Mr Birrell, who is known for his award-winning gourmet sausages, said the burglars spent about 20 minutes trying to smash down the back door.
Caught on CCTV, the thieves could be seen ransacking the Main Road shop just before 1am, stealing cash, ipads, an eftpos machine and keys to a delivery van – they left the van behind.
The burglary comes a week after a knife-wielding man robbed an Invermay service station and three weeks after an attempted ram raid at the BP at Youngtown.
Anyone with information about the burglary at Nigel’s Gourmet on Tamar should contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
