Tasmania Police is searching for a man who robbed a service station at knifepoint on Sunday.

About 9pm, the man entered the Caltex Service Station on Invermay Road armed with a knife and demanded cash.
Police said the robber escaped with a quantity of cash.
The man is described as about 180cm tall, slim build and dark facial stubbloe.
He was wearing a dark hoodie and navy pants, and was last seen heading in the direction of Elm Street.
The robbery comes two weeks after an attempted ram raid at BP at Youngtown.
A stolen car was used to smash into the front of the service station about 3am on October 9, the two would-be thieves caused about $24,000 damage.
