Event organiser Sue-Ellen Groer said about 100 people were expected to take part the events.
The celebrations will start with a book launch about the Archer family, followed by lunch with guest speakers, including convict descendants.
“We’ll then hop on a bus and will tour Brickendon, which is another Archer property. Then they’ll head to Panshanger, which is exciting because it’s not normally open to the public,” Ms Groer said.
The Saturday events will finish with a formal dinner at the new Nigel Peck Centre at Woolmers with some of the descendants.
“It’s a wonderful thing because 200 years since the convicts were here when it started, now the descendants will be a part of the new, new beginning,” Ms Groer said.
Registrations for the events closed last week, with all events sold out.
“It’s going to be a wonderful celebration,” she said.
