Neill-Fraser’s instructional retainer with her Hobart counsel was terminated and therefore her Western Australian lawyer Tom Percy sought more time to find another solicitor.
In 2009, Neill-Fraser’s husband Bob Chappell disappeared from a yacht in Sandy Bay. Neill-Fraser was convicted of Mr Chappell’s murder in 2010.
She will front the court again on July 4.
