Forensic investigations have started at two properties near Hobart to uncover any possible links to the suspected murder of Dwayne Davies, according to Tasmania Police.

Mr Davies, 47, was reported missing on Friday, with Tasmania Police now undertaking investigations at Risdon Vale and Elderslie.
On Wednesday, a 40-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were in custody and being interviewed by police in relation to the missing Risdon Vale man.
No charges have been laid.
Detective Constable Brad Conyers said Tasmania Police had not yet located a body.
“It began as a missing person investigation and through some information received, it then changed into a murder investigation,” he said.
“We’ve now taken possession of two residences … and they’re being examined by the forensics officers.
“There's a forensics team conducting a full examination of the property and surrounding areas, both inside and out, to establish forensic links of Mr Davies to this property.”
He said there were two cars of interest to Tasmania Police, which were currently being investigated.
“We have two vehicles of interest that we’re really appealing to the public for any sightings of those vehicle,” Detective Constable Conyers said.
Police are calling on anyone who may have seen a silver 2009 Hyundai Tucson or a white 2004 Nissan Navara in the Elderslie, Broadmarsh, Pelham, New Norfolk, or Risdon Vale areas to call police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
