Senior Sergeant Jason Jones and team spent the night monitoring the camping areas and around the stage.
“We were really impressed with the crowd, we didn’t have too many issues at all,” he said.
On Saturday, police dealt with some “unlawful” behaviour.
“There has been about three or four people removed from the site for various offences and law behaviour,” he said.
“We had a missing person, but they were later located. But apart from that everyone has been pretty good.”
Tasmania Police will remain on site for the remainder of the weekend.
“Traditionally (Saturday) night is the night that we tend to have more problems, but we’ll see how it goes,” he said. “We would hope that everyone behaves themselves.”
