The two schools will meet in their annual round 1 Northern High School roster football game for premiership points and the chance to win the cup at Youngtown Oval next Wednesday.
Kings Meadows will be trying to win the trophy for the third year in a row.
Both schools will field four teams with points awarded from each game and the overall winning school claiming the Bulldog Cup. The challenge day will start at 1.15pm with the junior seconds, followed by senior thirds and junior firsts and finishing with the main game, the senior firsts under lights from 6.10 pm.
South Launceston president, Felicity Viney, said that her club was pleased to continue its involvement with the Bulldog Cup with many players being former Kings Meadows and Queechy students. Northern high school senior rosters start on Wednesday for football, hockey, netball, soccer, indoor soccer and basketball.
