EARLIER TODAY: One man has been found but three people are still missing in bushland in the state's centre.
Police began their search for the four men yesterday in the Waddamana area near Bothwell, after becoming aware that their return home was overdue.
One man has been found alive and well, but police hold significant concerns for the welfare of the remaining three.
Searches of the area will continue today, with a helicopter being called in to assist.
The men were last seen driving a brown, square shaped early 1980s model Range Rover wagon with a loud exhaust.
Police are appealing to anyone in the Bothwell or Waddamana area who see or have seen a Range Rover matching the description or have any information concerning the location of the men to ring 131 444 or the Bothwell Police Station on 6259 4044.
