MOTORISTS have been warned to take care on the roads today after storms have caused trees to fall across the state.

Tasmania Police, local council workers and State Emergency Service volunteers were up early this morning clearing trees off Fagans Road, Christmas Hills (about three minutes from Bass Highway junction), Winkleigh Road, Exeter (three kilometers north of Exeter) and Squeaking Point Road, Port Sorell (just after Pademelon Drive).
Trees have been cleared at Christmas Hills and Exeter, but police and council workers are still working to remove the blockage at Port Sorell.
Police have advised that motorists take care.
All roads clear.
