Police are hunting a man who robbed a southern hotel at knifepoint this morning.

Just after 10am today, a man brandishing a knife approached a staff member outside the front of the York Hotel on Main Road at Granton.
The offender is described as being about 183cm tall, of slim build with closely cropped hair or shaved head, aged between 20 and 30 and was wearing a blue top.
Detective Senior Constable Leah Adams said the offender fled the area with a quantity of cash. No one ws injured in the robbery.
