Police on Wednesday said a 2022 black Ford Ranger (registration K26EP) was taken from the Esplanade at East Devonport overnight.
"A short time later, a 2022 silver-coloured Suzuki Baleno EW (registration K58MU) and a 2022 silver Ford Everest (registration K90GY) were stolen from the Devonport Airport," they said.
"The stolen Ford Ranger was reportedly later used to drive through the front doors of a service station in Railton, and a large amount of cigarettes were stolen."
Detective Sergeant Luke Negri said police would like to speak to anyone who had information about the crimes, including any information that would help them find the stolen vehicles or cigarettes.
"Members of the public can upload relevant dash cam or CCTV footage, or other evidence via the evidence portal," he said.
