At Monday night's meeting, Cr Andrea Courtney asked the council to write to the Burnie City Council calling on Cr Ken Dorsey to apologise after he said councillors acted like a "pack of dogs" when referring to the questions and statements directed at Cr Darren Fairbrother at June's meeting.
Cr Courtney also asked fellow councillor, Cr Maureen Bradley to apologise for similar remarks she made on social media.
"I've had a gutful and I've had enough of this stuff with Cr Fairbrother," Cr Courtney said.
"I have two questions without notice.
"One, can we write to Cr Dorsey and request he retract what he said about us publicly?
"At this time, I would also like to invite Cr Bradley to apologise for calling us a pack of dogs because I don't think it was fair when we were professional, we were respectful and we were courteous.
"We raised a motion, we spoke on the motion and we passed the motion.
"For those two councillors to go on social media and to the media and call us a pack of dogs the next day is just kicking us when we were all down."
In response, Cr Bradley said she would take the question on notice.
Earlier in the night, a petition with 348 signatures calling for Cr Fairbrother to resign was tabled.
Cr Bradley voted against the petition, arguing the whole community didn't share the same view.
"I think this petition does not reflect the views of the whole Waratah-Wynyard community," she said.
"I would like those words, 'Waratah-Wynyard community', struck out from the petition and replaced by the words 'people who have signed the petition'.
