The former Tasmanian representative smacked 120 off 80 balls to guide his side to 9-225 despite only two of his teammates making over 10.
Captain-coach Liam Reynolds joined Anderson at the crease with the score at 4-83, with the pair combining for the biggest partnership of the game - 98 - before the centurion was dismissed.

Reynolds followed not long after, making 37 off 67 balls, and sparking a mini collapse of 3-1 until Zac Reissig's 27 off 24 saw them home.
Isuru Amarawansha took 3-37 to lead the bowlers, while Rickie Wells took the wickets of Anderson and Reynolds in his 2-30.
Wells and Amarawansha proved to be the shining lights in the chase too, making 35 and 33 respectively as Attiq Ur Rehman (3-22) and Faheem Khan (3-33) took the wickets.
Despite being dismissed for 115, Perth found a way to defeat Trevallyn, winning by 47 runs.

A rearguard action from Jake Smith (31 off 57 balls) guided the Demons to their target after a strong start from captain Mason Keane (19) and Andrew Rigby (17).
Trevallyn's bowlers shared the wickets around as Sean Barry (3-17) and Glen Gleeson (3-25) marginally trumped Clayde White (2-27) and James Millwood (2-34).
However, it was Perth bowler Jonty Richardson that changed the game on his return, rolling through Trevallyn's tail to take 5-6 as the visitors were dismissed for 68.
Trevallyn's top order made starts through James Whiteley, Jed Steele (both 16) and Chris Taylor (10), but dual Ethan Goldfinch run-outs saw them lose 7-22.
Richardson's figures are the premier league's third best for the season behind Simon Chappell (7-19) and Beau Hills (6-23).
Longford skipper Richard Howe had a day out for the Tigers as they defeated ACL by 161 runs.
As his side batted first for 6-233, he smacked an unbeaten 37 off 25 balls late in the innings before taking 4-21 with the ball.
While Howe's batting performance certainly accelerated the score, Bhagesh Goyal's 59 off 56 balls set the tone, alongside Dion Blair's patient 41 and Jackson Blair's rapid 27.
Mohammed Iqrah was ACL's sole multiple wicket-taker with 3-31.
The Bluebacks were unable to make a steady response to the Tigers' target, bowled out for 72 as only Cameron Martin (15 off 43 balls) and opening batsman Aakil Fazal (13 off 31) were the only batters to make double figures.
Tigers bowlers Kieran Davey (4-12 off eight) and Howe made life hard for the defeated Bluebacks.
George Town made it consecutive wins, defeating Legana by 48 runs.

Batting first, the Saints set 8-267, bolstered by terrific middle-order innings from Shane Baker (88 off 57), Sam Freeman (56 off 86) and Jay Leslie (34 off 26).
Freeman joined Baker at the crease with the score at 3-29, putting on a massive partnership of 135 to help the Saints towards their eventual victory.
Legana's Adam Bourke took 3-54 as the sole multiple wicket-taker before his captain, Dylan Sharman started the chase off strong with 44 off 31 balls.
Premier league returnee Mark Payne also scored 44, while wicket-keeper Jarrod Dusautoy scored 49 off 31 balls batting at eight but the damage was already done for the Durhams.
Freeman took 4-63, while Leslie's contribution was tidy, taking 2-24 off eight overs and Joel Coad took 2-38.
