The cause was especially important to Hamish Landers (10), as his father had recently finished chemotherapy and his mother had shaved her own head for a similar cause in the past. The school's Ossa House students also supported the fundraise as part of an annual charity event.
"With Hamish doing it, we thought it would be great to do the same to help raise more money," said Ossa House Captain Isabella Scott (12).
The charity event was part of a fundraising day in which students were encouraged to dress up in their favourite sporting colours and play sporting games at lunch.
Hamish and Ossa House raised $350. The two other school houses also raised funds for The Smith Family and Motor Neuron Dieses support.
