Loud bangs and yelling emanated from a corridor in the Launceston Magistrates Court after a Kings Meadows man failed in an attempt to get bail.

Jacob Adam Williams, 29, was taken into custody on September 28 after a raid in which police seized a total of $118,000 in two separate packages from a car and the ceiling of his home.
Police allege he was dealing in the proceeds of crime and that he possess a controlled drug, namely methylamphetamine on September 28.
Williams did not plead to the charges. Police prosecutor Alex Pemberton opposed Mr Williams' application for bail.
Magistrate Sharon Cure refused bail and remanded him in custody to reappear on October 21 at 9.15am.
Last year police seized $51,000 cash and a gold-coloured BMW 520D when they searched Mr Williams home on September 18.
He pleaded not guilty to manufacturing and trafficking methylamphetamine when he appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court.
He also pleaded not guilty to trafficking in a controlled substance between July and September last year, manufacturing a controlled substance, namely pseudoephedrine, manufacturing a controlled drug for sale, namely methylamphetamine, unlawful trafficking in firearms, unlawful possession of property, dealing with the proceeds of crime and dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
He was committed to the Supreme Court for a directions hearing on November 16, 2020, and has appeared several times since.
Police allege the cash and the BMW were the proceeds of crime.
Police also alleged Mr Williams had a firearm licence, a Visa card and power gel explosives that it says were stolen.
Mr Williams is also charged for selling or otherwise disposing of a Browning pistol, a Beretta pistol and a Ruger pistol between August 3 and August 5 Last year.
Mr Williams also pleaded not guilty to counts of possession of a controlled drug, possessing a thing for the administration of a controlled drug, selling a controlled drug and possessing a firearm and ammunition when not the holder of a licence.
On that occasion, he was remanded in custody by Magistrate Ken Stanton but later achieved bail in the Supreme Court.
Mr Williams has also pleaded not guilty to trafficking in a controlled substance in August last year after police raided a Hadspen address and found he and a 26-year-old man, who has also pleaded not guilty, extracting about $30,000 worth of methylamphetamine from a bear that had been delivered by post.
