The Saints led at every break en route to consecutive victories and, despite not scoring in the final quarter, held their nerve for the win.
Shane Baker, who played five games for Scottsdale before coming back to the Saints mid-season, was the sole multiple goalkicker for the winning side as Anthony Axton, Dylan Burr, Shaun Muller, Sam Freeman, Austin Maynard and Luke Crane joined him.
Explosive forward Kyle Lanham booted two in defeat while coach Ethan Petterwood was his side's best and Matthew Knight and Logan Jones led the way for the Saints.
The victory means the Saints come off the bottom of the ladder, leapfrogging Hillwood to take eighth spot.
Rocherlea v Bracknell
Rocherlea has knocked off every other top-five side in the past six week after defeating Bracknell 9.9 (63) to 7.4 (46).
Since defeating Deloraine on June 19, the Tigers have knocked off South Launceston, Longford and the Redlegs, shaping as the competition's form side.
Leading by only one at quarter-time, the victors extended their lead to 17 at the main break before the Redlegs pegged it back to seven at three-quarter time.
But the Tigers, led by Zane Brown's four majors, held the home side scoreless in the last to secure the victory.
Daryn Lowe, Brandon Bassett and Jordan Cousens joined Brown in the best players while Bracknell were led by coach Corry Goodluck's three goals, Sam Douglas, Oli Gibson and Jake Huett.
Bridgenorth v Deloraine
Deloraine got back on the winners' list with a 5.9 (39) to 1.2 (8) win over Bridgenorth at Parrot Park.
The Kangaroos came into the clash on a high following some good news by Premier Peter Gutwein on Friday after easing of restrictions on Victorian travelers ensuring coach Lochy Dornauf, co-captain Stan Tyson and James Carpenter could lace up the boots.
In a match where all but two behinds were scored at one end, the Kangaroos got the upper hand early to lead by 21 at the first break.
The Parrots narrowed that back to 14 through a Jake Nunn major but that proved to be the side's solitary goal, held scoreless in the second half after doing the same to Deloraine in the second term.
Brodie Donohue's run of form continued with two goals alongside Nathan Green, Adam Crawford and Oliver Smith, who all found the big sticks, the latter after praise from Dornauf earlier this week.
Defender Matt Mitchell was the game's best, followed by Brayden Butler and co-captain Jarrod Scott, while Jacob Bonney, Oliver Wood and Nunn toiled hard for the Parrots.
Longford v Hillwood
Longford joined the Kangaroos in recovering from a loss, defeating Hillwood 12.22 (94) to 3.2 (20).
The Tigers' leading forwards in Mitch Bennett (five), Luke Murfitt-Cowen and James Gillow combined for 10 between them but it was former North Launceston midfielder Liam Davies who stole the show.
He had 39 touches and laid six tackles in the win, joined in the best by Cameron Gard, Josh Frankcombe and Bennett.
Hillwood young guns Brad Templar (two) and Sam Sherriff kicked the goals with Mack Blazely and Matthew Dikkenberg named the Sharks' best.
