A 35-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murder over the death of a woman at Ulverstone in June.

Gabbie Marshall, a 23-year-old Queensland woman was found dead at a Main Street home in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, June 15.
She had only moved to Tasmania in the weeks prior and was staying at the family home of a friend.

Ulverstone man Colin William Drake was arrested later the same day at a house in the same street, and subsequently charged with Ms Marshall's murder.
Mr Drake appeared in the Devonport Magistrates Court on Thursday before Magistrate Tamara Jago.
The matter will go to trial before a judge and jury in the Supreme Court, and Mr Drake was remanded in custody until August 30 to stand trial.
