It's the fourth year that Deloraine Newsagency have participated in The Examiner's Winter Relief Appeal, and owner Debbie Willis is constantly impressed by the generosity of the community she lives and works in.

"I think the people of the Meander Valley, Deloraine in particular, are really great," she said.
Generosity runs in the family - with son Beau and daughter-in-law Madi starting their own fundraising campaign, with Debbie herself having the ambition to begin a not-for-profit to continue to give back.

"We do this to give back to people less fortunate than ourselves - we are so blessed to be in this situation and you never know what tomorrow will bring - we may not need it, but our friends could," she said.
Deloraine Newsagency has a collection tin for the Winter Relief Appeal, taking donations until August 31.

Donations can be made in collection tins at participating businesses, including Deloraine Newsagency, in person at The Examiner's office on Cimitiere Street, as well as via BPAY or electronic funds transfer.
