The Raiders started strong in their batting innings, with Brodie Hayes and Sam O'Mahony combining for 86 runs.
Little else would go the Raiders' way from there, with the boys in orange failing to bat a full day, finishing 198 all out in 62 overs.
Coach Tim Coyle said a high-scoring effort by a batsman or two was needed but never happened.
"We had a good start to the day and set ourselves up for about a 250-plus total, but we just didn't get anyone going to make that big score which we desperately needed," he said.
"If someone goes on and makes 80 or 100 ... and you know you're going to get a decent partnership in that time, then you get to 250-plus.
"If you can get to 250-plus on the wicket, that's an excellent score."

Glenorchy openers Ryan Graham-Daft and Nathan Matthews then went on to take a fair chunk out of the total, tallying 50 runs in 15 overs.
"We didn't necessarily bowl that well at the end of the day," Coyle said.
"It means we have to fight pretty hard this week, we haven't got a lot of runs to play with.
"But we also know that if we bowl with lots of discipline this week and really attack the stumps, we're a chance then to get some wickets.
"And once we get one wicket, they might come in clumps, but I don't think it'll be an easy wicket to start with."
The Raiders have had success against Glenorchy's batting in the past; Coyle said it was good to have a week's preparation as they seek to defend their total.
The match will continue at NTCA ground two on Saturday.
