While the club's schedule online only highlights one match with a 'TBC' venue, club chief executive Chris Pehlivanis allayed any concerns that Launceston wouldn't be hosting matches.
"Western United are continuing to work with state government and Football Tasmania to bring A-League games to Tasmania," he said.
"While there has been a lot of movement in the fixture, our intention is to still bring two games to the state."
UTAS STADIUM UPGRADES:
The Victorian-based club announced in December 2020 that it had plans to play Perth in March and Macarthur in April at UTAS Stadium.
However, due to COVID, the A-League schedule as a whole has become fluid and it is unknown who Western United's opponents would be if they played in Launceston.
