The former Hobart Hurricanes captain, who made her debut for the Raiders in their 94-run loss to Clarence at Latrobe on Sunday, described the standard set by less her experienced teammates as being "really good".
"You could tell a little bit that the girls hadn't played a lot of longer format stuff and for many of them it was their first 50-over game and you could tell that a bit towards the back end,'' Moloney said when assessing the group of North-West and Northern talent.
"But they are a good bunch of girls and it is really exciting to be part of the Raiders as they want to learn and they want to get better and I think they are here for all the right reasons and it is an easy team to be part of."
She said she was keen to have more of personal impact for Darren Simmonds' side in the coming weeks after a first ball duck.
