With almost 100 entries received from all over the state, it is the biggest race meeting to be held this year.
In a change to normal race programs, competitors will vie for a black plate over six 10-lap heats with the winner set to be determined on points.
Ten classes have been offered with KA3 senior medium attracting the largest field for the two-day meeting which is leading up to the Tasmanian Championship on the weekend of November 28-29.
Qualifying and three heats will be on Saturday with a further three heats on Sunday.
Spectating is free with up to 1000 allowed in under COVID-19 conditions.
A full canteen is provided.
Launceston Kart Club president Stuart Lee looks at the categories:
Cadet 9
"The youngest of the competitors with ages from 7-10. The form driver looks to be Chad Edwards who has really stepped up in the past month. Others in contention look to be Lucas Furphy and Cruz Kelly who has been doing plenty of laps lately."
Cadet 12
"This could be won by a number of drivers with Mitchell Conroy, George MacMillan and Emilie Williams all having claims. A large field of 13 have entered which is very promising for our state."
KA4 junior light
"Another class that has a good field with a number of genuine podium chances. Elliot Bellars looks good on paper but will have some tough opposition from Denzil Sargant, Cooper Synfield and brother Jordan and Oliver Wickham."
KA4 junior heavy
"Due to low numbers of KA3 juniors in the state, Toby Callow and Harrison Sellars have both returned to the KA4 ranks and look likely to be the ones to beat. Patrick Johnston, Tabitha Ambrose and Jonathan Harris are all in with a show as well."
KA4 masters
"A small but classy field of gentleman races have entered the over 40s class with Shane Burdon and Malcolm Watson likely to be at the pointy end along with Andrew Walter."
TaG restricted light
"Another class that will be hard to pick a winner. Launceston's Brodie Sward and Tim Piper will be hard to beat but will see some tough opposition from Hobart's Nigel Hildyard and Zevie Eisentraut."
TaG rest. medium
"A good field has entered with the winner likely to come from a number of drivers including Troy Sheahen, Brad Danrell, Daniel Hinds Scott Hildyard and Shane Stonehouse."
TaG restricted heavy
"It's good to see a field of eight heavy entries. Allan Sheahen looks the man to beat, although the returning James Pinfold may take it up to him along with brother Garry and John Lee."
KA3 senior light
"Ethan Wyllie may be the favourite on recent form with a number of challenges from Calvin Broad, Fletcher Bellars and Gemma Wyllie."
KA3 senior medium
"The biggest field and the largest number of drivers that will think they start favourite. A winner most likely to come from Mitchell Evans, Jonathan McDonald, Alastair Lee, Nathan Zuj, Campbell Logan and Jordan Distill."
