Tasmania police is investigating after gun shots were fired at a Hadspen house early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a report of a firearm being discharged into an address on Bowdens Road about 3am.
Upon arrival, police discovered shots had been fired into the house causing damage to the two front windows.
A witness reported seeing a small hatchback leaving the area towards Main Road, Hadspen immediately after hearing the shots, police say.
IN OTHER NEWS:
No injuries were sustained in the shooting.
Police believe the incident was not random and have reassured Hadspen residents not to be fearful of a reoccurrence.
Police are seeking any information in relation to the incident.
