A Riverside man has been charged after he was allegedly caught drink driving almost five times above the legal alcohol limit in Kings Meadows overnight.

At 11pm Tasmania Police responded to reports of a white Mitsubishi Magna crashing into a parked car on Riseley Street, Kings Meadows and then being driven erratically in the surrounding area.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Acting Inspector Jason Jones said the breath analysis of the 25-year-old driver returned a reading of 0.233 and he was charged with driving under the influence.
The man was bailed and will appear in court at later date.
